Where's the Ref?: Ref meets the Neighbours

After four and a half years, Ref is back in Australia! Last time, despite travelling the whole of the east coast of this vast country, Ref only made a couple of appearances. This time we tried to take a few more photos...

First stop was Melbourne's famous Meet Your Neighbours night! Ref's chance to mingle with the stars of his favourite soap!

Inflating the Ref is always an embarrassing necessity, and doing it in a room full of inquisitive backpackers is even worse. Rich waits til everyone has knocked back at least a few Aussie lagers before getting the Ref out.

It seems the stars aren't coming out tonight, much to Ref's disappointment. Instead, the organisers rope in dastardly Dr Darcy Tyler - not seen in the show for about 2 years!

We're not sure we approve of what Darcy is doing here...

Hooray! A true legend!! Ref, Claire and Rich get to meet Dr Karl Kennedy, aka Mr Alan Fletcher! After meeting the biggest Aussie soap star ever (Kylie who?...), we get to see Dr K's band Waiting Room perform. Rock on!
